Spirits of the Red City is a folk rock band based out of Minnesota that basically just makes beautiful music. They combine slow, sad hooks and catchy banjo riffs to create some really thoughtful tunes. Their debut LP, Hunter Moon, is a collection of mournful songs that definitely showcase the awesomeness that is modern folk.
